Digital_Nation film

During class on Wednesday, Professor mentioned Sherry Turkle the MIT professor who is releasing new research on life in the digital age. This reminded me of an excellent film (that Professor Turkle is interviewed in) that I watched last year for my senior thesis, called Digital_Nation. It's a Frontline documentary and is very interesting and well done. While I am a huge advocate of emerging technology and find new ways to use Web 2.0 and mobile technology to connect people, this film provides some insight into the way these things have changed our society and some of the misconceptions we have about the way we function with technology. I highly recommend it. It has a run time of about 90 minutes and you can view it on the Frontline website as well as stream it on Netflix without interruption if you have a subscription.
